How video creation experience be like after using Opus Clip's AI coaching dashboard?
Following an initial ideation phase exploring AI's potential to transform video production workflows, we assessed existing AI-driven video creation tools, identifying key differentiators, user pain points, and emerging trends to better understand their impact on the evolving landscape of digital storytelling.
By thoughtfully integrating AI-driven support, we aim to elevate the video creation workflow, delivering a powerful, intuitive, and efficient creative solution that aligns with user needs.
The interview surveys shows that the majority of creators find content creation and editing, material finding and usage, translation and subtitles, market demand and audience, technical issues, and platform limitations and sensitivity to be the primary challenges.
After a thorough study of the user's video production process and user pain points, combined with Opus Clip'needs, we determined our design will focus on three aspects: Predict Market Trends, Provide Insights in Contents, and Video Data Analysis.
The sitemap is based on the video creator's pain points and we identify the four key task flows that the final design will focus on:
1. Getting information on trending topics
2. Knowing their competitors
3. Performance Overview
4. Navigating to quick access
We started to sketch out our ideas based on the site map we created.
01 DASHBOARD LAYOUT
In the initial design ideation, we noticed that competitor content was getting more visual weight than intended. Since users approach information differently, we made adjustments to create a more balanced layout that better supports a variety of user preferences.
